Care instructions & labeling

We attach our care instructions to our products on certified labels of the highest Ökotex Standard 100, Class 1.

Cleaning and care

Spring cradle

All our feather cradles are made from 100% jacquard cotton and are machine washable at 30 degrees using a mild mild detergent.
Please dry the cradle fabric in the fresh air.
Do not tumble dry as this is gentle on the cotton and the environment.
After washing, the cotton fabric is best laid flat to dry.
Cotton is easy to iron.
It is best to lightly dampen the fabric so that the result is particularly smooth.
Be careful not to iron at temperatures higher than 110 degrees, otherwise the natural fibers will be damaged.
Please follow all care tips on the label.

Mattress

The cover of the mattress is made of natural cotton.
The filling consists of pure new wool from northern Germany.
After shearing, it is only sorted, gently washed and combed.
In most cases, it is sufficient to allow stains on the mattress to dry and then shake or brush them out.
To remove creases and odors, it is usually sufficient to hang the mattress in the fresh air.
Sheep’s wool has naturally self-cleaning and even antibacterial properties.
If the mattress is very dirty or wet, you can wash it by hand at a cold temperature using a mild mild detergent.
Gentle machine washing on the wool cycle is possible.
Please do not use bleach at all.
It is best to dry the mattress in the open air.
Please refrain from tumble drying and ironing as this can damage the wool.
Info box: Incidentally, our sheep’s wool comes from an old North German breed of sheep that is threatened with extinction.
In this way, we also contribute to the preservation of this special breed of sheep.
But that’s not all: the wool from these sheep is ideal for our mattress, as it does not felt or clump when handled properly.
So your baby will always lie comfortably.

Wood

All wooden parts of the cradle, such as the spacer boards, stands and wall brackets, are made of solid wood.
It is treated with an organic care oil that is certified for children’s toys.
And of course it is saliva and food safe.
All you need to do is wipe the wooden elements with a dry cloth.
If you wish, you can rub the wooden parts with a little care oil after prolonged use.
