Fabrics made of nylon or other synthetic materials are not sustainable. Our cradles are made of 100% cotton, North German virgin wool and real coconut. Plastic-free, regional materials are important to us. That's why we manufacture in Hamburg - MADE IN GERMANY. Our packaging is plastic-free and our motor is made from compostable bio-polymer.
Favorite color in the nursery? No problem.
You have the option of putting together your cradle from 30 colors, different types of real wood and mattress fillings according to your wishes. There are even matching frames and door brackets for old walls.

We believe that our children feel like they are in paradise in mummy’s womb.
Of course, we do everything we can to make them feel safe at home in the nursery too.
We rely on warm colors, friendly pictures and cuddly blankets.
But the close bond and the children’s first feelings are formed in their mother’s womb.
There is no safer place in the world for them.

Feather cradles can give the same feeling.
The shape of the cradle and the soft mattresses support the child’s rounded back, while the fabric shawls on the side together with a pretty scarf that smells of the mother protect her from external stimuli.

We founded PAULI & CO because we wanted to make really good products that could not only help us, but also others.
When Nico’s twins came into the world far too early, an outstanding, top-quality cradle was the obvious choice.
Back then, we walked many kilometers on foot in the living room and were constantly sitting on the Petzi ball with back pain.
We wanted to change that.
We saw the spring cradle from the market leader at the time at a friend’s house and recognized the ingenious idea behind it.
The children feel like they are in mummy’s tummy in a spring cradle.
That is perfect.
However, the fabric of the cradle was very thin and smelled kind of chemical.
The motor was jerky and not particularly appealing.
We had the impression that the products were simply procured in Asia and then sold for a lot of money in Germany.
We now know exactly where our competitors manufacture their products.
But we ignore the many offers from Asian manufacturers.

We have resolved not to indulge in such a sourcing strategy and have been manufacturing in small sewing and carpentry workshops in Hamburg and the surrounding area since our foundation, using materials of much better basic quality and as plastic-free as possible.
The fabric density, for example, is 280g instead of an average of only 160g per square meter.
To test our quality, not only the fabric is tested by the Hohenstein Institute, but also all the materials used.
They all comply with OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 and are free of harmful substances.

The cradle has a high-quality finish. The little one loves to lie in it when he gets tired. It then likes to take a 1-2 hour nap. We also use the cradle in the evening. As a new mom, you know how valuable these two hours can be. :D The customer service is very friendly. We had some bad luck with a defective engine, which was then replaced without any problems.
